Öbì-Wäñ Kêñòbî's Jedi Archives - Poetry Hall!
So, here are my poems. These are 100% Original and created by me!
Looks Can Be Deceiving.
The trees I see in front of me,
I am one, and they are three.
I see them there, with their branches and leaves,
and imagine the load that they must heave.
But these things are also decorations,
decorations that define the tree nation.
I hear the wind brush them, and they whisper in my ear:
"Do not come forth, do not come near."
My spine tingled, and my hair stood
for I clearly understood,
that something so still could be so deadly
and I never guessed, for they seemed so friendly.
I quickly ran home, and shut the door,
hoping they would speak to me no more.
Ode To The Lost.
So sad it is to know, that things we are given, we cannot keep.
Lo! Behold and see, even they mighty heavens weep.
The exit of many a fine creature is almost unbearable to see,
Why have the Gods done such a thing to me?
But yet, they left some gifts in their place,
Beauties of nature, full of elegance and grace.
Their leaving us hath not brought all sorrow,
The things we have received have us looking at tomorrow.
So with these treasures in mind, I must move on and attend
to the many who's hearts are in need of a mend.
Is Death A Friend?
Is Death a friend, or is he a foe?
Don’t ask me, for I don’t know.
He can help others, or hurt you,
There’s just so many things that he can do.
He takes away enemies with a single snap,
He strikes our loved ones when they nap.
He tears down things that cannot last,
He cleans the present of all things past.
Is Death a friend, or is he a foe?
Ask anyone, but no one knows.
The Indubitably Short Poem With The Long Title That Will Leave You Wondering About What The Subject Of The Poem Was.
Why?
Revelations.
A knock on my skin and in Death I lay.
Beaten, bested, out of the fray.
As I lie in my coffin like a vampire,
psalms are sang by the local choir.
People are crying, for my loss they weep.
Do not cry, for I'm merely asleep.
One day, from my tomb I'll rise!
Lo' and see the tears wiped from their eyes!
All evil things have been washed away,
as mankind celebrates the dawn of a new day.
This is Revelations.
So, I don't really know when I'll add more poems...they just come to me at random times. Like when I'm washing the dishes or can't go to sleep.
